A-MM-E STUDIO
Designer Emma Kempton was originally a costume designer and performance artist working for the theatre and circus, and this flair for the theatrical can be seen throughout her collections. These are pieces that put a contemporary London spin on the Italian aesthetic. All that black velvet deserves a standing ovation! The clothes are wearable, yes, but still brimming with fashion character.
ANAR LONDON
Established in 2012 by Kazakhstan born designer Anar Mensiitova, this label is made for confident, sexy women. Crushed velvet mini-dresses sit alongside pastel metallic biker jackets. This is your date-night fix, right here. Part Dallas (Anar is big on big shoulders), part superhero (two words: leather jumpsuit), say hello to fun, statement-making fashion.
BOMB PETITE
Bomb Petite’s in-house range is comprised of elevated, wear-everywhere staples with a luxe twist. Created to form the backbone of any petite woman’s wardrobe, the collection’s mission is to marry versatility with that all-important must-have factor. Designed and manufactured in London, the result is a premium and utterly wearable collection for women who question the grown-up order of things.
CRISTINA ADAMI
A graduate of Central Saint Martins and a former stage-outfit designer for Florence Welch, Cristina Adami seems to have an innate understanding of boho chic. This vibe translates well to her couture bridal dresses and occasion wear. Her constant experimentation with lace, silk, satin (and plenty of embellishment) leads to real fairytale moments.
NANCY MAC
Sisters Hannah and Sarah McMahon have woven true vintage charm into every Nancy Mac creation. These are pieces for dreamers. Think feminine confections of lace and satin with wistful bows and swoon-inducing necklines. Trot back to the 1940s in true style.
MICHAELA FRANKOVA
A couture designer and London College of Fashion graduate, Michaela creates magnificent occassionwear with a heady dollop of originality. Her prints have a raw energy, a Christopher Kane like vibrancy, and are tempered by softer elements like lace and beading.
NARROW ARROW
90s minimalism just got cooler. From sheer polo-necks and wrap shirts to ruffled peplum midi skirts – Narrow Arrow specialises in wardrobe staples that are anything but basic. The silhouette and carefully chosen palette give these clothes a timelessly stylish edge. Plus, every piece is hand-made in England by a team of top-notch seamstresses.
PETRIISKI
Vassil and Veronica Petriiski founded this label in their native Bulgaria in 1990. Since then, their vibrant, print-led pieces have amassed a cult following. Kaleidoscopic, prism-like images are emblazoned across body-con dresses, flippy dresses and directional cut-out bralets. The designers take inspiration from a variety of things – most recently the architecture of London landmarks like the Gherkin.
REIN
Rebecca Morter and Gemma Vanson are graduates from London College of Fashion and have worked for Alexander Wang and Christopher Raeburn respectively. Both influences show through in their bold, monochromatic designs. The look is sleek and oh-so London. Black tunic dresses. Striped jersey skirts. And bundles of attitude.
VJERA VILICNIK
Croatian-born, London-based creative director Vjera learned her craft at Ecole Lesage in Paris. And it shows. The level of detail in her clothes is exemplary. Think hand-dyed lace and hand-prepared embellishment. The result is nothing short of princess perfection. These are romantic, pretty clothes adorned with flowers and super-girly touches.
